The Dr. Fernandez’s Home is a clinical program dedicated to the care of persons with severe mental illness and to the development and investigation of rehabilitation strategies that facilitate their treatment goals.

Towards this end, the faculty and staff

(1) Provide care for adults suffering from severe psychiatric disorders.

(2) Provide specialized rehabilitative techniques for patients diagnosed with schizophrenia and related disorders. 

(3) Use both innovative and well-established treatment methods designed to promote optimal functioning.
